This was a big project that involved a hole 360 adventure between colors, materials and ideas to create the concept including the naming, branding, spacial design and music that could transport you to a place to honor the mezcal and mexican culture. Everything had to be done in a month. That created a lot of stress to me and believe me, I don’t want to go through that again. My mental piece is first than anything. Creativity has its own rhythm and pushing it into boundaries of hight stress is possible but not positive (at least for me).
The main inspiration came between agave plants and the beautiful Oaxaca colors.
The logo was made by hand with ink and a lot of patience.
The ceiling is an artist intervention of more than 5,000 color ribbons that take us to the heart of the Guelaguetza
