ART MURALS

2009-2018:

Painting murals for me was a dream. I looked at every street artist I could find on my trips and the cities I lived in and absolutely admired their work. I thought it was impossible for me to do that. By that time I use to draw only on little-tiny formats. Like if I was shy.

-Commission for Museo Del Juguete, CDMX-

Then I worked for an artist residency of only street artists and there I felt the power. One of the residents said to me: You will love it, is like dancing. But I didn’t believed I could do it.

2018-2021:

-Painting the water containers of my city during Covid-

Many years passed from that experience and I decided to start a project doing murals of self love in the streets of Merida to empower Mexican woman. We did, we had different walls around the city painted with powerful messages. I empowered myself with this lines and with this words. I started believing that this was possible.

-Beautiful interesting Mérida map of my trips in bicycle around the peninsula-

After that I received a call for doing my first paid art mural. I will be always great full for El Museo del juguete that gave me this opportunity. Every time I get a commission is a new adventure a new challenge to unlock. I started getting a lot of commissions and then I got pregnant. I really miss being on top of a ladder painting looking down and smiling.
